Product details

8 Ton 12 Hp Air Cooling Industrial Water Chiller

Product Description

Industrial water chillers are used for controlled cooling of products, mechanisms and factory machinery in a wide range of industries, including plastic injection and blow molding industry. The industrial chillers assist to improve the production efficiency and minimize the rejection ratio of finished products. A chiller will use either a vapor compression or absorption cycle to cool.

Chillers can be either air-cooled or water-cooled.

Air-cooled chiller requires less maintenance than water-cooled unit and it dispenses with the need for cooling towers. However, the air-cooled chiller generally consumes approximately 10% more power than a water-cooled unit. It transfers the heat absorbed to surrounding air directly.

Water-cooled chiller absorbs heat from process water and transfers it to a separate water source such as a cooling tower, river or pond. A cooling tower is a must if there is no direct discharge source like river or pond. The water could be reused after special treatment to remove the dusts and impurities.

There are 10kw-200kw cooling capacity for you choosing. Please kindly contact us for you detail request.

FAQ:

1.Use of chiller?

Plastics
In the plastics industry, a chilling system cools the hot plastic that is injected, blown, extruded or stamped. A chilling system can also cool down the equipment that is used to create plastic products (hydraulics of the molding machine, gear box and barrel of the extruder) that saves on energy and on the wear and tear of the machine itself.

Printing
In the printing industry, a chiller not only removes the heat generated by the friction of the printing rollers, but cools down the paper after it comes out of the ink drying ovens in the process.

Laser
In the laser cutting industry, light projection industry, etc. a chilling system is used to cool down the lasers and power supplies.

Rubber
In the rubber industry to cool the multizone water temperature control units of the rubber extruder barrel, cool the rubber mill, calendars and bambury mixers.

Beverage
In the beverage industry, a chiller removes the heat gained from the process during mixing, cooking, or after pasteurizing the product.

Medical
If you use high tech equipment for magnetic resonance imaging, scanning, blood cooling and laboratory testing, you'll need a cooling system to remove all the heat generated.

Hvac
With cooling expenses accounting for 30% to 50% of your total energy costs and rising fast, and the impending phaseout of chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerants, there is a rapidly growing need to replace large commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems with a modular chilling system.

2. Simple formula size a chiller

Cooling Capacity(kw)= Flow Rate(m3/h)*Temp Change(T1-t2)/0.86

Heat Load= C(specific heat)* M(quality output per hour )*Temp Change(T1-T2)

3.  Chiller maintenance?

Step 1: Keep Tubes CleanStep 2: Ensure a Leak-free UnitStep 3: Sustain Proper Water Treatment(prevent scale, corrosion)Step 4: Analyze Oil and Refrigerant
